William Peterson: “I Won’t Miss Grissom”
CSI’s great actor William Peterson says that he won’t miss Gil Grissom – but fans of the show absolutely will. After 9 seasons, the veteran actor is walking away from the hit TV drama and a pile of cash – which he says is reason enough to let it go.
“The reason I’m leaving is because I’m afraid I’m becoming too comfortable,” says Petersen. “It’s ‘CSI’ — they pay me a lot of money, and I don’t have to work very hard anymore. I’ve got it all figured out. And I just realized, God, as an artist, I’m going to atrophy.”
