Sanjaya Malakar Was The Bomb on Idol Last Night
On last night’s American Idol, judge Simon Cowell grudgingly admitted the controversial teen star Sanjaya Malakar wasn’t that bad. He closed the Latin-themed show with a soft, simple version of “Besame Mucho” - in Spanish no less.
Cowell said, “I couldn’t understand a word of it. You sang like a 14-year-old and I’m going to hate myself for this….it wasn’t horrible.”
