“This was an accidental shooting by someone that plays with guns,” said Ronald Richards, the lawyer of a woman who had been initially held as a suspect in the shooting of Scott Ruffalo, 39, the younger brother of actor Mark Ruffalo.

Scott died Monday night after his life support machine was switched off. Police have determined that he had accidentally shot himself in the head with a shotgun one week ago at his Beverly Hills apartment.
