Whoever though Madonna directing a major motion picture was a brilliant idea needs to have their head examined. Oh wait. That would be Madge herself. The Kaballah inspired material girl released her directorial debut film “Filth and Wisdom” on October 17 but it’s been a bomb at the box office.

She got the usual adoring reviews from critics who have been in love with Madonna during her entire career, but average theater goers could not have ignored this film more and film critics have dismissed it as a vanity project.
