A source told The Sun newspaper: “Her demands were ludicrous and it soon became clear that getting her involved would be a headache.”

Comedienne and 30 Rock starTina Fey returned to her old stomping ground of ‘Saturday Night Live,’ to play Repub VP nominee Sarah Palin alongside Amy Poehler who did a turn as Hillary Clinton.

Asked what Gov. Palin thought of the skit, a spokesperson said “”She thought it was quite funny – particularly because she once dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween.”

“Project Runway” judge Nina Garcia has landed a gig on a new fashion reality TV show. The spicy Columbian will be starring in “Running in Heels” in 2009 which will follow the staff at women’s magazine Marie Claire, which Garcia joined a short while ago after being sort of fired leaving her long-time position at Elle magazine.

Heels will showcase the behind-the-scenes work of 15 Marie Claire employees from haughty editors down to the ‘Ugly Betty’ interns manning the phones, with two being highlighted each week.

The actor will reportedly portray a former pathologist turned college lecturer. He meets up with members of the CSI team during a homicide investigation – and ends up joining them.

But wait, there’s a twist – he goes into CSI harboring a secret: his own genetic profile has been identified in serial killers.

Here’s some good news out of Hollywood for a change: actress Christina Applegate has been completely cleared of the BIG C: Cancer! The ‘Samantha Who?’ star paid a steep price for it after deciding to undergo a double mastectomy but the decision saved her life.

“I’m clear,” Applegate, 36, says. “Absolutely 100 percent clear and clean. It did not spread. They got everything out, so I’m definitely not going to die from breast cancer.”
