Just days after being involved in a one-car accident, Dark Knight star Morgan Freeman has confirmed to Access Hollywood through a spokesperson that he and his wife of 24-years, costumer Myrna Colley-Lee, “are involved in a divorce action.”

Apparently, it’s not all that sudden - his business partner Bill Luckett says: For legal and practical purposes, they have been separated since December of 2007.”

Transformers actor Shia LaBeouf rolled his truck in Hollywood over the weekend and sustained a pretty bad injury t o his left hand but otherwise his female passenger and another driver were not injured too bad. Cops say he was cited and released on misdemeanor suspicion of DUI - it would have been a felony bust had the other people been more seriously injured.

It must have been a hell of a smash up - the actor’s huge F150 pickup was broadsided and rolled a couple of times after an intoxicated Shia made a left hand turn in front of the oncoming car.

Josh Brolin was arrested early Saturday morning at a bar in Shreveport, Louisiana. Josh, who is playing the part of George Bush in Oliver Stone’s film ‘W’, along with his W co-star Jeffrey Wright and some crew members, were apparently at the Stray Cat bar in the wee hours when a scuffle occurred and Josh messed with some of the 10 cops who arrived to restore order.

Heee’s Out! Cynthia Rodriquez, wife of New York Yankee Alex “A-Rod” Rodriquez has filed for divorce after citing her All Star man on his “long period of infidelity.” Her attorney Maurice Kutner broke the news to the Miami Herald:

”She feels that she has exhausted every opportunity to salvage the marriage, and that Alex has emotionally abandoned her and the children and has left her with no choice but to divorce him.’

Ali G/Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen is to play Sherlock Holmes while Will Ferrell has been cast as Dr. Watson, his crime-solving partner in a new untitled comedy.

“Just the idea of Sacha and Will as Sherlock Holmes and Watson makes us laugh,” Columbia co-prexy Matt Tolmach told Variety. “Sacha and Will are two of the funniest and most talented guys on the planet, and having them take on these two iconic characters is frankly hilarious.”
