Actor Wesley Snipes has been given a three year prison sentence for tax evasion. In February the Blade actor was convicted of failing to file his taxes for five years and the court found he owed millions in back taxes. Best guess: he’ll serve about 18 months in jail.

Daniel Radcliffe is hunting for some hot Australian chick he spotted at a film awards party but didn’t have an opportunity to pursue. Now he’s announced his intentions in the media in hopes that the girl, or someone who knows her, will come forward.
Sydney’s Daily Telegraph Newspaper quotes Radcliffe, 18, as saying: “She stared at me all night and I was going to get her number and then I couldn’t find her.”

George Clooney, a giant in his own mind and much beloved by powerful people in Hollywood, launched another bomb over the weekend. “Leatherheads” made $13.5 million on its opening weekend which is considered a small take for a $60 million picture. Despite being a media darling, movie fans don’t give a hoot about the “sexiest man alive”.

Jensen Ackles is going from ‘Supernatural’ on the small tube to slasher on the big screen. The star is said to be in final negotiations to star in Lionsgate’s horror/slasher remake of “My Bloody Valentine 3-D”.

Was Heath Ledger was a father at 17? News out of Australia is that Ledger may have left behind 11-year-old daughter in addition to the baby he had with Michelle Williams. Ledger’s uncle, Haydn Ledger, says Heath had a brief affair when he was a 17-year-old schoolboy. The woman, then aged 25, reportedly discovered she was pregnant after their relationship had ended and she was living with another man at the time.

Handsome actor Jared Leto has vowed never to do the Robert DeNiro thing of gain weight for a movie role again after he piled on 60 pounds to play John Lennon’s killer Mark David Chapter in “Chapter 27″, a film which he shot more than 18 months ago. Leto says he is still suffering the side effects of “gorging and force-feeding” himself for the role and he fears he will never regain his once-fit physique.

A $1,000 bench warrant has been issued for the arrest of outlaw actor Shia LaBeouf from the People’s Republic of Burbank after the dastardly menace to society failed to appear before a judge on charges of ‘unlawful smoking’ within the city limits on February 18. Neither bad boy Shia nor his attorney bothered to show up for the hearing.

Daniel Radcliffe’s pack-a-day cigarette habit has become so apparent that his co-stars on the set of ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’ - have nicknamed the 18-year-old ‘Harry Puffer”. A source said: “Daniel has been smoking up to 20 cigarettes a day. Every time they call ‘cut’, he lights up. It’s disgusting.
“Friends, including co-stars Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, have been warning him about the dangers of smoking. But he doesn’t take any notice.”
