Pop tart Britney Spears blew about $61 million since her troubling head shaving incident in February 2007, according to In Touch Weekly who ran the numbers by an L.A. accountant. That figure includes the $50 million she could have banked had she gone on tour when her album ‘Blackout’ dropped.

Brit and her bodyguard were going down Ventura Boulevard in her Mercedes when she rear-ended another car in heavy traffic. The bump from Brit’s car caused that car to rear-end the car in front of it.

Britney Spears’ dad wants his superstar daughter to ditch her pop career to become an actress, according to reports.
Jamie Spears, who is currently conservator of Britney’s estate, is looking into acting opportunities for the pop tart following her successful stint on the show ‘How I Met Your Mother’.
“Britney did a great job on How I Met Your Mother. She got the show its highest ratings yet, but more importantly for Jamie, he wants his daughter at a normal 9-to-5 job to keep her working and out of trouble,” a source told the New York Post.

Madonna has compared Britney Spears’ hounding by the paparazzi to “people inflicting cruelty and pain on each other” in Africa.
The pop queen made the outburst to ‘Vanity Fair’ magazine, saying she finds Spears’ situation “very painful”.

Troubled star Britney Spears finally did herself proud with her guest star appearance on “How I Met Your Mother” on TV Monday night. It’s being reported by the National Enquirer that there were some problems rehearsing her scenes with the other stars though…
The pop star rehearsed like any other cast member, except that she refused to remove her trademark oversized sunglasses until the cameras rolled.
