Benicio Del Toro Thinks Che Was Just Like Batman
Benicio Del Toro has love for the memory of Argentinean mercenary Che Guevara after playing the communist revolutionary in Steven Soderbergh’s biopic of Che. Benicio says he spent months studying Che and is now convinced that he was just a warrior with a bad reputation.
Del Toro tells Latina magazine he thinks the the mass murderer was just like Batman: “We tell stories about Batman, and he was a type of Batman. No one can deny that he was trying to stop man exploiting man. Whether he was successful or not….”
