Amy Winehouse & Madonna Win Songwriting Awards
Amy Winehouse and Madonna have scooped prestigious Ivor Novello songwriting awards at a London ceremony.
British soul diva Winehouse won best contemporary song for her song ‘Rehab’, while Madonna’s ‘Sorry’ was named international hit of the year.
The Arctic Monkeys also scooped a trophy. They won the best album award for ‘Whatever People Say I Am That’s What I’m Not’.
