Beyonce will accept the award at the publication’s annual Women In Music Event in New York on October 2. She’s being honored for all her accomplishments, including a sell-out world tour, chart-topping album ‘I Am… Sasha Fierce’ and her humanitarian efforts, which include teaming up with General Mills Hamburger Helper and Feeding America, to deliver 3.5 million meals to local food banks and giving 2,500 concert tickets to disadvantaged families.
