Amy Winehouse’s jailed husband has reported threatened to divorce the soul songstress.

Winehouse’s father, Mitch, claims Blake Fielder-Civil - who is currently held in a London prison - has been turned against Amy by his mother.

Britney Spears has not lost out on a movie role, the director of Memoirs of a Medicated Child’ has revealed.

It has been reported the troubled pop tart had been ditched from the movie and replaced by Canadian singer Samantha Falk.

“The rumors of Britney Spears not starring in the movie are false. We still are in negotiations and the possibility of Britney still being in the movie remains the same,” director Tommy Parker says.

“Samantha has been cast in the movie, but her involvement in the film does not affect the part we would like Britney to play.”

Tom Cruise’s film-making partner has said the actor is the victim of religious prejudice.

Paula Wagner, who co-owns the United Artists studio with Cruise, says the star’s Scientologist views have “no bearing” on his professional life.

“I am not a Scientologist, nor are most of the people Tom and I work with, but that doesn’t mean I can sit by silently while he is attacked for his religious beliefs,” she said.
