Here’s a voting result you can’t argue with: Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has topped a list of the most beautiful women who ever lived. Catherine, 38, was the No. 1 choice in a poll conducted by Nephria Cosmetics and voted for by 8,000 women worldwide – stealing the crown from a host of much younger beauties because of her “style and grace”.
Interesting poll actually, since those polled were allowed to vote for their all-time favorites – living or dead.
Britney Spears‘ new shrink had a surprise for the Toxic singer – last night he had Britney escorted by cops and taken to the UCLA Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation. 
Rocker Chris Daughty is up for four Grammy Awards and is arguably one of the most successful American Idol non-winners. Recently he told TV Guide that he thought Idol contestants should be allowed to play instruments and, “[They] should be forced to write a song on the show and perform it,” he said. “That’d bring some new life to the show.” 
The sudden accidental death of actor Heath Ledger has been especially difficult for his famous Brokeback Mountain costar and friend Jake Gyllenhaal, who is also godfather to Ledger’s two-year-old daughter Matilda with Michelle Williams. A source says Gyllenhaal is devastated, and is “taking this harder than most people.”

He has split from his longterm girlfriend Laura O’Toole who he had dated for over a year. “Daniel and I are still good friends and have a good time when we see each other. But we just have to be realistic,” she said referring to his busy Harry Potter work schedule.
Actress Michelle Williams has put work commitments on hold indefinitely while she grieves for her former fiancee Heath Ledger. The 27-year-old was filming the last scenes of new movie Mammoth in Sweden when she heard of her former lover’s death last week. The former Dawson’s Creek star immediately flew to New York with the couple’s two-year-old daughter Matilda where she is expected to stay with family and friends.
