Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas says she became schizophrenic while taking drugs to cope with the failure of her music career in her teens.

Stacey ‘Fergie’ Ferguson turned to drugs after spiralling into depression when her girl band Wild Orchid split.

“I started taking ecstasy. From there, I got into harder drugs and a bad place. I had chemically induced paranoid schizophrenia,” she revealed.

Model/actress Kelly Brook, the fiancée of Titanic star Billy Zane, has pulled of Strictly Come Dancing following the death of her father from cancer on Monday.

Kelly had vowed to perform on Saturday’s live show (which is the British equivalent of Dancing With The Stars) in memory of her dad, but found rehearsals “too difficult”.

“Kelly has been a fantastic part of the programme and will be sorely missed by everyone on the show,” a BBC spokesperson said, adding everyone involved with the show “would also like to express their deepest sympathy to Kelly and her family at this difficult time”.

Hewitt, 28, was surprised by McCall with an antique engagement ring – which has been in his family for over a hundred years – during a vacation in Hawaii.

“They got engaged last week,” Hewitt’s rep Sarah Fuller told Us Weekly magazine. She added she has no details of the pair’s wedding plans.
