Britney Spears will avoid hit and run charges, after paying off the other car’s driver, a judge ruled on Thursday.
Superior Court Judge Susan Speer said Spears will still have to face one count of driving without a license, a charge the singer pleaded not guilty to through her lawyer.

Rap star Diddy has accused the media of over-blowing accusations that he assaulted a man at a New York night club earlier this month.
“It was something that was just totally overblown…I don’t fight over girls!” Diddy, real name, Sean Combs, said.
Adding: “I am a human being and I will get into an argument at times.”

Brad Pitt thinks a handful of his early films are so bad that he’s taken the initiative to say he’s sorry for ever having made them. In particular, he singled out a few stinkers, such “Seven Years in Tibet” in which he adopted a really really really bad Austrian accent to play Heinrich Harrer, and also “Meet Joe Black” and “Cutting Class”.
That’s odd - he left “Troy” off his list of films to apologize for.

Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Tony Romo has attracted the attention of One Tree Hill actress Sophia Bush. The couple were spotted together at the N9NE Steakhouse in Dallas, along with several of Romo’s teammates and their wives and girlfriends. A source told People: “Tony and Sophia arrived at the restaurant together, just the two of them in the same car. They had drinks in the lounge and awaited the rest of their party to arrive.”

Halle Berry has apologized for an “offensive” comment she made about the appearance of Jewish people.
The Hollywood actress said on ‘Tonight With Jay Leno’ that a distorted photo of herself was a large nose made her look like her “Jewish cousin”.
“I so didn’t mean to offend anybody,” she told the New York Post.

A judge has freed Pete Doherty from a drug treatment order, after the Babyshambles star appeared in a London court.
The singer was told his order, which he still had six months left to served, would be revoked by District Judge Jane McIvor.
McIvor said she received advice from experts and was convinced Doherty, who has already been supervised over 18 months, would follow his plan to remain drug-free.

The Hollywood couple will collaborate on a drama about aid workers who work in war zones
Brad and Angelina will be executive producers on the show, along with Scott Burns – producer of An Inconvenient Truth.

Pop group Simply Red is to split after 25 years together, the band’s singer Mick Hucknall has announced.
The group’s Stay album, released in March, would be their last studio album together and the group will split following their tour in two years’ time.
“I’ve kind of decided that the 25 years is going to be enough,” he said.

Britney Spears is a bad mommy who ignores her kids - so says a a court report filed by her parenting coach. After the troubled singer lost custody of her two cheetos last week, the “coach” was assigned to observe Brit with her two boys, Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one, during visitations. And the coach’s report observes that Britney lives in her own world and doesn’t pay much attention to her sons.
