Lindsay Lohan claims she is innocent and that the blow she had in the pocket of her tight jeans when she was arrested for driving drunk yesterday wasn’t hers. She was, like, just carrying cocaine around for someone else. Like a friend, you know? So what legal part of “possession” does Firecrotch not understand?

Britney Spears has a bad habit of revealing too much of herself in pap photos, but her latest incident could show her in the worst light yet. TMZ.com has the scoop about the Toxic singer’s photo shoot for Ok! magazine: ‘According to multiple sources, Britney’s behavior during the interview was “nothing less than a meltdown.” She was…”completely out of it” during the shoot. The photos are “so bad” that to publish them could “kill her career.”

The resemblance to Leonard Nimoy could be a bonus to Heroes villain Zachary Quinto. The actor is in negotiations to play the Spock in next year’s Star Trek XI movie. Quinto told Starburst Magazine: “When the news about the next Star Trek movie began to surface I became inundated with e-mails and links to websites where people were saying, ‘Zach Quinto should play [young] Spock’. I started opening myself up to the idea and I think the exploration and immersion to be done with such a character would be amazing.”

According to the Santa Monica Police Department, Lindsay Lohan was arrested early today (Tuesday 7/24/07) for DUI, driving on a suspended license and possession of narcotics. The Santa Monica Police Department is telling media that Lohan was taken into custody near the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium along Pico and Main early Tuesday morning.

Daniel Radcliffe turns 18 today and that means he finally gets his hands on the $10 million (£20 million) fortune he’s earned for the first five “Harry Potter” movie franchise. And what does he plan to splurge on? Nothing! Nada! Zip!
Dan says the things he likes to purchase “only cost about 10 pounds - books, CDs, and DVDs.” And don’t look for the now adult wizard to go off the deep end like some other rich, young celebrities.

Having no idea how big the Star Wars saga would eventually become, star Mark Hamill had a clause put in his movie contract that he was to be given a copy of any Luke Skywalker memorabilia that might be created. Now he’s stuck with a warehouse full of the stuff and says he’s received one piece of every item of merchandise inspired by his character.
He told a British radio program: “I’ve been an electric toothbrush and I think there’s a Luke Skywalker asthma inhaler that was released in Australia.

Actress Evangeline Lilly experienced the devastating loss of having her home in Hawaii catch fire and burn to the ground last December but the actress says she came out of the experience feeling “really liberating and exciting.”
Rather than mourn for possessions, the 27-year-old decided the fire, which was caused by an electrical fault, was a chance to change her life: “All that I lost were the things inside. I’ve always believed things are more of a chain than a vehicle. To not be tied down to anything was a great feeling.”

Rapper Lil Wayne did his first major gig in New York City at the Beacon Theater Sunday night, but then got a sour taste of his Big Apple debut when he was busted for pot and a weapons charge. An NYPD spokesperson said that Wayne’s tour bus was pulled over at around 11:30 p.m. After searching the vehicle, police arrested Wayne for criminal possession of a .40 caliber pistol and possession of marijuana. Ja Rule was arrested in a different location, an hour earlier, also for possession of a .40 caliber pistol.

John Travolta says he initially turned down the role of overweight mother Edna Turnblad in Hairspray until he got into talks with the director Adam Shankman. The actor worried the musical wouldn’t live up to “Grease” the 1978 monster hit movie that made him a star.
But Travolta was convinced by the dedication of the director. He says,”Shankman basically said to me, ‘I take this movie personally and if it doesn’t come out right, I’m going to die.’

50 Cent is suing an advertising company for $1 million, claiming it illegally used his image in a game inviting the player to shoot him.
The ‘Shoot the Rapper’ game, which features in advertising banners for Traffix Inc., urges the viewer to shoot at him by clicking their mouse.
Although the game doesn’t mention 50 Cent by name, the rapper’s lawyer says “it looks like him, and there’s no doubt the character is intended to be him”.
Adding 50 Cent is “personally offended” by the company using his likeness without his permission and suggesting he endorses the game.
