Britney Spears is officially a single woman again. Her divorce from dancer Kevin Federline has been completed, the star’s lawyer has confirmed.

“Everything is finalised,” Laura Wasser told press at Los Angeles‘ Superior Court.

As well as the divorce, a settlement over custody of the pair’s two sons was also approved by the court. Spears is “OK” with the undisclosed terms of the settlement, Wasser said, but “would like to be with her kids more”.

Scarlett Johansson could star as a porn star in a new movie, if adult film star Jenna Jameson gets her way.

Jenna is reportedly desperate for Scarlett to play her in a movie about her life called How To Make Love Like A Porn Star.

I tapped up Scarlett for the part and I’m very excited about the film. It was my decision not to play the role because I’ve lived that life already and anyone can play themselves,” said Jenna, who will executive produce the movie.

Jackie Chan’s new movie, Rush Hour 3, won’t be released in China after authorities labelled it “fundamentally anti-Chinese”.

Chinese authorities are said to be angry about scenes involving Triad gang members, according to reports.

Xiao Ping, a vice president at the state-run China Film Group’s import and export arm, has confirmed reports that the movie won’t be shown in the country but blames the “weak” Chinese market for the decision.

Lindsay Lohan’s father, Michael, is planning to open his own rehab centre - he told a court.

Michael was ordered by Judge Stacy Bennett to get a job and start paying his ex-wife, Dina, over $500 per week in child support for their two youngest children. The judge also ordered Michael and Dina to stop arguing in public and in front of their children.

“I’m going to start making a living again,” Michael said.

Gwen Stefani’s upcoming tour date in Malaysia could be cancelled after a religious group labelled the singer “indecent” and “obscene”.

Stefani’s ‘Sweet Escape’ tour will hit Kuala Lumpur in August but not if the National Union of Malaysian Muslim Students can help it.

Mohamad Hilmi Ramli said: “Her video clips promoting the event are too obscene. We want the organisers to cancel the concert, failing which we will ask the authorities to intervene.”

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie’s reality television show The Simple Life has been cancelled.

The show was a big hit with viewers and ran for five series, but the E! network has dropped the socialite’s show from next year’s schedules after the girls’ private lives started overshadowing the programme.

“Viewers would see Paris all day long on the news about her going to jail, so they didn’t care about seeing her camping with kids. It just was too played out,” an E! network source says.

Donatella Versace will design the costumes for the Spice Girls’ comeback tour later this year, it’s been revealed.

Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm and Victoria Beckham’s 14-date world tour starts in Vancouver on December 2.

“Donatella was a big fan of the girls back in the day and as soon as she heard that a reunion was on the cards she submitted her ideas. There will be several different ‘looks’ for each of them and the clothes will be worth over £200,000,” a source told ‘The Mirror’ newspaper.
