British teen actor Daniel Radcliffe has joined the lofty ranks of the highest paid film stars of all time. Joining the likes of Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp, Dan just penned a deal that will pay him $50 million to star in the final two wizard films, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” and “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.”

Did you watch Paris Hilton’s interview on CNN’s Larry King Live? In an hour long show that appeared scripted, Paris revealed nothing much in response to King’s superficial questions. Among other things, the heiress says that the 3-week jail sentence has changed her ways and she is vowing to shed her party-girl image and proclaims she wants to help the world. “I know I can make a difference” she told King.

Cameron Diaz recently lamented that her fear of being tied down is the reason she’s not doing bigger movie roles. “There are a lot of great roles out there but you know my problem? I’m really bad at commitment,” she explains to the Daily Star. But the 34-year-old actress is reportedly unreliable and that is perhaps an even more significant reason that she’s been doing “Shrek” voice-overs rather than major roles.

Germany has barred the new Tom Cruise movie from being filmed at military sites in the country solely because of the actor’s close ties to Scientology, the Defense Ministry said on Monday. Cruise, who is also one of the film’s producers, is the most famous and vocal member of the Church of Scientology which the German government identifies as a money-making cult and not a religion.

Here’s an interesting controversy: OJ Simpson says he did do it, but as for the book “I Did It” which he says he did alone, now it seems someone else did it. Wrote the book that is.
The double murderer was paid big bucks to write the book, but Page Six is reporting that publisher Judith Regan wrote the manuscript with no input from Simpson. But the Juice is saying he did it.

More details are coming out about the death of wrestling superstar Chris Benoit who strangled his wife and suffocated his 7-year-old son over the weekend. Hours, or maybe a day later, Benoit hanged himself with the pulley of a weightlifting machine after placing a call to WWE officials to inform them that he would not be at Sunday’s Vengeance pay-per-view event in Houston as scheduled, due to “personal reasons.”

Paris Hilton is a free woman this morning, after her early release from the Lynwood Women’s Correctional Facility where she served 23 days for probation violation. Paris , 26, made no statement but smiled broadly before hugging her parents, Kathy and Rick Hilton at 12:15 a.m.

Justin Timberlake has reportedly disappointed his fans in Gothenburg, Sweden, by verbally attacking locals and spitting on them. The Sexy Back singer apparently got pissy after teenager tried to take photos of him as he made his way back to his hotel after dinner at the city’s Hard Rock Café.

Harrison Ford has dusted off the bullwhip and put on the fedora and dirty leather jacket for one last time to play his most famous character, Indiana Jones. Principal photography began on the 4th film this week in New Haven, CT, some 17 years after the last one came out. The 64-year-old actor looks fit and relaxed to return as the world’s most beat-up archaeologist adventurer.
